If you’re the kind of person who finds the rush of skiing much more satisfying when you’ve skinned your way up the mountain first, then at King Pine, you’re in luck. Our uphill policy allows skiers and snowboarders to enjoy alpine trail access, so long as all the following requirements are met and understood.

UPHILL POLICY & REQUIREMENTS

  • As an uphill guest of Purity Spring Resort, Inc., you must agree to our terms, conditions, acknowledgement of risk (RSA 225A:3) and release of liability.
  • Access is at your own risk.
  • It is recommended that you travel with at least one partner.
  • Skis with skins, split tail snowboard with skins or snowshoes are required.
  • You must have a valid season pass, lift ticket or Nordic trails ticket to access our trails.
  • You should travel on the best side of the trail to be seen by downhill skiers, snowboarders, snow groomers and snowmakers on snowmobiles.
  • Travel must be done in a single file on the edge of the trail.
  • On the front side of the mountain, the required uphill route is Scotch Pine, finishing on Crooked Pine.
  • On the back side of the mountain, the required uphill route is Slow Pokey Pine, finishing on Pokey Pine.
  • Stopping is not permitted in high-traffic areas.
  • When traveling on our trails, you must observe the Skier Responsibility Code.
  • No sleds, tubes, saucers, snowmobiles or fat-tire bikes are permitted on our trails.
  • You must use a headlamp and reflective clothing at night and during lowlight periods.
  • You must yield to downhill traffic, as downhill traffic has the right of way.
  • Please stay off trails that are being groomed.
  • Please stay off trails where snowmaking is occurring.
  • Dogs/Pets are not allowed on trails during our lifts’ operational hours.
  • You must be prepared for inclement weather with appropriate clothing and equipment.

Human Power Pass

All-Ages 2024/2025 Human Power Pass for $79

If you can’t get enough cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or fat-tire biking, then our Human Power Pass is the way to go. With this pass, you’ll have season-long access to the Purity Spring Reserve XC & Snowshoe Reserve and the ice-skating rink at our Tohko Dome as well as uphill access to the alpine trails at King Pine. This pass does not include lift access. And all uphill access is subject to King Pine’s Uphill Regulations & Requirements. This pass must be worn and visible at all times when in use. And it does not include any additional discounts.
