March 15, 2010:


- Tuesday Night Skiing is closed for the season.

- The pizza party and awards will begin at 6pm Tuesday, March 16 in the King Pine base lodge.


January 19, 2010:


- Competitors will receive 5 points for each night they compete (no longer 10 points)

- At the end of the season, each competitor will have their lowest score removed from the totals. This means that even if you missed 1 week, it will not affect your overall score. We do this so that everyone will have a fair chance to win even if you had a bad night or missed a night.

Twisted 10

 


The King Pine Twisted 10 is a 10-week Tuesday night series for kids looking to show off their latest tricks in the terrain park or off the front side hit near the base lodge. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcomed and encouraged to compete.

A different format will take place each night... from jumps, hits and rails to a GS-style race with hits in March. Points are awarded to all competitors. Entries gets 2 opportunities and resident and visiting judges will "rate" your performance on Amplitude, Landing and Difficulty.

This season, SkiWorks in Ossipee and The Flatbread Company will sponsor the events.
 Look for great prizes to be awarded each night with grand prizes awarded at the end of the season to the highest point getters.

2009/10 Information:

There will be a one-time entry fee of $10 due at registration.

All competitors must submit a release form. If you are 17 years old or under, a release form MUST BE SIGNED by a parent or LEGAL GUARDIAN at this time. We cannot allow competitors to participate until release forms are signed and turned into Guest Services.

 

 

Additional information:

  • There will be 10 events beginning 1/5/10-3/9/10 (exception: 2/16). Event times are 6-8pm. Actual competition will take place between 6:15-7:15 with video and awards after.
  • A different format will take place each night... from jumps, hits and rails to a GS race for the final.
  • Kids of all ages are encouraged to enter.
  • Points are awarded to all competitors. Entries gets 2 opportunities and judges will "rate" your performance.
  • Points are added up and prizes are given each night for the top 3-5 finishers.
  • Most events will be video recorded and then shown after the event in the base lodge.
  • 5 Points are also given for entering each night. In addition, all competitors who participate in all 10 events will win a pair of snow tubing tickets! MUST SIGN IN EACH EVENT TO RECEIVE 10 POINTS
  • A pizza party by Flatbread Pizza will be given on the evening of the final week.
  • Grand prizes (skis + snowboards) will be given to the individuals with the highest point totals at the end of the season.
